#OOTW - Plaid

Hello Everybody!
How are you this nice Saturday (or whatever day it is)? I've had this outfit ready to post for a while now, but never really got around to it, until now. I'm working really hard to continue posting on L&L, and since its summer I have nothing else to do. And for some reason I feel really motivated. So I hope this keeps going, and the posts keep flying out!
Anyways enjoy your outfit of the week. If you have any suggestions for future posts please email us.

This is a really easy look to put together. You can easily change it to fit your style a bit more, either by changing the colour of the jeans (black) and keeping the plaid. Or maybe changing the shirt, a different coloured plaid shirt (no-brainer) or a different button-up, maybe pin stripe, or solid.
You can dress it up by tucking in the front of the shirt, adding a pair of dressier shoes (pumps, wedges, leather flats), adding a delicate bracelet or a pair of earrings, and/or putting your hair up or curling/straightening. Or you can dress it down by untucking the shirt and having it loose, and a chic pair of sandals, a cute tote, and a pair of sunglasses to cut the summer sun.
To get a more summery feel cuff the jeans, and roll up the sleeves. Don't button up the shirt all the way, unless you're maybe trying to rock a statement necklace, otherwise you'll look strict and you'll get hot (so, so hot.).

How To Accessorize

On the left we have a more relaxed, out for a walk, venturing look. Keep your hair held back in a summery, loose fishtail braid. Some sunglasses for some style, and convenience. A watch so you won't be late for whatever important date, and some comfortable walking shoes. This outfit would be great for some sight-seeing while travelling or running around downtown.
On the right we have a more professional, dressed up look. Have a big floppy hat for a nice statement, and to protect you from the sun. A cute bag for hauling around all your stuff in style. A natural leather bracelet for. . . Well its just there to look good. And some wedges to dress it up. This outfit could work for lunch with friends, shopping in an outdoor mall (if you're up to walking for 4 hours on heels), or meeting for work.

I hope you liked this post, and it gave you inspiration. I'm trying to work on how to write these posts, 'cause they sound a bit boring. But anyways have a nice weekend.
