OOTW - Sunday Edition!

Hey guys!
It feels like it's been a while since I've done one of these. Sorry for the lack of posts on Lace & Leather during the past two weeks, we've been studying our butts off for exams. Thank goodness they're over {as well as school!} so we can finally get back to posting!

Okay, unlike Stina I was not quite as motivated to do this post, but we had some really good photos from our OOTW photoshoot {can we even call it that? oh well} and I thought I may as well post them!
And thank you all so much for all the views on my Inspiration Post for Disconnected! I'll definitely be doing more of those types of posts, so leave a comment below or send us an email for any requests. Otherwise you guys can look forward to another Inspiration Post in the near future!

Speaking of future posts, Stina and I have both been trying to get back on track, and I'm currently working on a DIY which will be featured on Tuesday. We're making these DIY's summer themed, so remember to check back on Tuesday for our DIY (and tomorrow for Mani Monday).
As always, please give us a +1, comment, share, or send us an email if you liked this post! Love you all, and I'll talk to you soon!

 Back & Front Shots of Outfit
{unfortunately, the original shirt is sold out. the shirt shown in the sets is similar to the original.}
Dressed Up
Since this outfit is really quite casual, it was a little difficult to dress up. However, the addition of a blazer conceals the cutout in the back, making it a little more appropriate for a fancier environment. Put your hair into a side ponytail for a more sophisticated look, and accessorize with a black and gold watch. White nails and nude pumps dress up the shorts, while a nude clutch completes the outfit.

Festival Style
Hat  Sunglasses  Bag  Bracelets  Boots
I decided to make this outfit more of a festival style since I'm personally a fan of the look, and I thought it would be interesting to try it out. First off, curl or wave your hair {whether you're using heat or braids} for that gorgeous carefree look. Add a hat to keep the sun off of your face, and put on a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes {and look chic at the same time}. Keep your phone and cash in a handy cross body purse and stack some cute bracelets on your wrists! Finish it off with a pair of combat boots.

I hope you guys liked my OOTW! I hope it was helpful to anyone who's looking for outfit ideas. Have a great week and don't forget to check in throughout the week to see our new posts!
